in 17 hours...

I'll be on one of these.
Bound for here.
And then here.

I got all packed up and ready. Fingers crossed that my bag is under 50 pounds. I was happy that I got everything in one bag, with room to spare. I only have that and my carry on.
Praying for a easy flight. Hoping to sleep most of the way. Off for a two week adventure!
I'll be talking to yall soon!
Take care friends!

Packing, packing, packing.

I'd definitely say packing is the worst part of a trip.

Can you believe its August????
Did you know there is one hundred and fourty five days until Christmas!

This morning, on this day of August 2nd, my slave cylinder went out on my clutch. Happy Monday! But it happens, right? You can't have a vehicle without something going out on it sometime or the other.. Right? Maybe there are people out there who have super amazing vehicles that never ever have problems. If you're out there, I would like to meet you.
Sadly this slave cylinder thing isn't a cheap fix, I may be looking at $400. Where is my wallet? cause you know that is just pocket change for me.

Excuse my sarcasm.

On a more upbeat note, I discovered the amazing combination of oreos and coffee. Who needs milk? I personally am not very fond of milk, but I am fond of coffee. So, coffee, oreos. Try it sometime.

So, I'm house sitting for a few days. Ya know, everytime I do I just come to realize more and more that I don't think I could live alone my whole life. I mean, I suppose I could. But I see a crazy old cat lady in my future if that happens. Don't get me wrong, I like being alone some. But after a few days I get a little weedy, and know the crazy syndrome is starting to set in.

But thankfully I have this little Chihuahua to keep my company. I should rephrase the house sitting, cause in actuality I am dog sitting. I won't lie either, I am not a fan of Chihuahua's. But Penelope here is a pretty cool little dog. So I won't let ever let her hear I don't like her breeding. She is a pretty easy keeper too, just feed her a treat at least once a day, let her sleep with you, and she is your best friend.

Maybe I'll just be a crazy old dog lady.

I think I here a ice cream sandwich calling my name.

Good night friends!

Stopping in...

Hello Friends!

It seems I have been a little bit scarce around the blogging world lately. Just a few months or so.. It happens, right?

We've been enjoying some rain around these parts for the past couple weeks. It is definitely a blessing! The talk seems to constantly be about the weather. The always asked question.

"How much rain did you get?"

It is hardly ever complained about. Unless the farmers have hay down or something.

I hope everyone had a good 4th! We spent ours where we usually spend it every year, a ranch rodeo up in the mountains. Its always a lot of fun, especially whenever you have about three different teams to root for.

In four weeks, if the Lord allows, I will be heading to Scotland with my grandparents for two weeks! I feel as though I have mentioned this before, but I can't be for sure. I have dreamed about going to Scotland, and Ireland since I was a little girl. Bonus is we'll get to stay in London a day or so as well. To say I am excited would be somewhat of an understatement.
It'll be here before I know it!
