Yep, the PRCA is in town, last night, and tonight also. Me and Taylor went, then Jessica and Caitlin came, so we all hung out. Before the rodeo was just not very fun though... see, I'm having battery problems with my camera. Whenever I first got it, my mom bought a kodak charger, and rechargeable batteries that came with it, we figured we could use them in both our cameras, and I could also take it to Europe with me, well I tried to use the batteries, but the durned things would just not stay up, so we thought the charger was messed up, my mom bought another one, a energizer this time... didn't work either, we tried just regular double AA, did not work. So, my dad being the kind daddy he is, called the Kodak support line or whatever, they informed us all the batteries we had been trying to use would not have enough power for my camera, well isn't that just lovely. They said we'd have to get the recommended batteries for it, which would either be lithium batteries, or a stinkin' 30 dollar rechargeable battery, and the charger for it would be another 30 dollars. So I searched and searched on the web looking for a good deal on a battery that would work for my camera, and a charger. I finally found on, on Amazon. The charger was universal, 13 dollars, and the battery was on like 4.89 or something. So, I ordered them, (this is all on Tuesday by the way) I paid like 20 something dollars for three business day shipping, I figured it would get here on Friday (yesterday) But OH NO, they didn't ship it until Wednesday afternoon, and were saying it would not get here until the 10th, I am leaving on the 10th, lets just say I was not happy, at all. I went by the post office twice yesterday, just hoping that it might possibly be there, nope.
So, today me and Taylor went all over town to see if somewhere might possibly have this charger and battery, if they did I figured I would buy it, then just send the other thing back when it came and get my money back. We went all over town and had absolutely no luck, I did find the rechargeable battery, but no charger. What good is the battery if they don't sell the charger! argh. We went to Radioshack, Sears, Rex's, Walmart, Sams, every store I walked out of I would just get madder and madder. What really ticked me off is I had been planning on buying a 2GB memory card for my camera at walmart, well they didn't have a 2GB one, they had a 1GB and a 4GB for stinkin' 50 bucks! Then I went over to Sam's hoping they might have it, no such luck, so what I did pick up was a pack of lithium batteries, I figured I could try them and see how long they stayed up and all. So I go up to the register, with my moms card. The lady looks at the card, looks at me and asks "Who's card is this." and I was just thinking, oh man! so I told her it was my moms, well she said that she could just not let me purchase anything, cause my mom would have to be present and blah, blah, blah. I was seething, I mean I know they have their rules or whatever, but me and my brother have bought numerous things in that store using either my moms or dads card, they never looked before, and yesterday they just had to look. Pooey. So after stomping my way out of there, me and Taylor went and got something to eat, then went to Target, where I did find my 2GB card, and some lithium batteries, I got a little four pack, if they stay up pretty good I guess I'll spend a lot of money and get a huge pack of them... or find a battery and charger in Lubbock when we go through.
Yeah, the whole thing has just been kind of a mess, I don't know why they couldn't have sold me a rechargeable battery and charger with the camera... but oh well. Golly dang I spent a long time on that, just had to vent... Thinking of the verse... "ALL things work together for good to those who love Him..." ALL things, even stupid little silly things that happened today... anyway moving on.
Here are a couple of random, just because pictures :)
Nectar of the gods...

Taylor, BTW those are MY sunglasses, he is trying to steal them.

So, the rodeo was pretty awesome, the bronc riding was of course the best, the bull riding completely stunk, nobody stinkin' rode! it was ridiculous. Roping was... eh, I'd much rather be doing it then watching, same with barrels. I did get some pictures though! mainly of the bareback riding, cause it was the first event and the lightening was still good, so they came out a lot better. The others didn't really, cause it was getting dark and my flash doesn't work real well from far away, it just isn't quite that powerful.
So here are some bareback pictures, I won't put the others up cause most of them are really dark, or blurry.

Yeah, it was some crazy stuff. I do wish I'd have been able to get better ones of the saddle bronc riding, but oh well. The rodeo was over about 9:30, me and Jessica wandered around, then she left and I hung out with Taylor and the Pierce boys, we ended up going to sonic (a dirty gross creepy sonic) and got a coke, then left for home about 11:30. Yeah... all in all the rodeo was pretty good, me and Jessica got creeped out by a weird concession stand guy... and the rodeo clown... yeah.
Anyway, so I have like... three more days! We're leaving for Texas on Monday morning, and my plane leaves at 11:50 on Tuesday morning, I'm feeling... excited, but really nervous all at the same time. I'm excited to see what the Lord has for this trip :) I think I have everything I need... well, I did need to get some shoes, and smallish type sleeping bag... but I didn't get 'er done. So maybe I can stop on the way to Texas or something, I don't know. I haven't packed hardly anything yet, I'll be doing that tomorrow I reckon. Hm, well. I made this post longer then I meant too, now I need to go take care of my horribly sunburned legs... (I was out floating yesterday in the pool, and got this lovely, awful burn, right on the top of my legs. Yeah, it's my own fault, I don't want to here it.) And I have to go get ready for a wedding.
Later ya'll, I'll probably post again before I leave
