Last weekend I got the opportunity to go with 15 others for a weekend outreach to Serbia! We were going to do some ministry about about 4 different Calvary Chapel churches there.
We headed out Friday afternoon { and its only about a 3 hour drive }
And we walked around town
{ it is a very pretty city! }
When Lisa came back from getting us registered we drove to another town, where the church that we'd be sleeping at was.
Saturday we got up, drove to another town and spent the day there.
The Pastor of that churches name was Tibor
{ taken with my ipod...sorry for the bad quality }
After they were folded and whatnot, Tibor decided he wanted us to take them to his storage space....
in this van...
1960s, cherry red, VW hippie van.
He did not want to make two trips, so we piled them in, and onto the van...and off we went to the storage area.

It was such a blast! half way to the storage area half the boxes tried to fall off, with only this one rope holding them, but they made it! and we only ended up losing a couple of shirts.
We unloaded, and came back to be fed stuffed paprika's { so good!! }
That afternoon we visited a gypsy village. Tibor and Lisa spoke, we did one of our skits, made some balloon animals, and just hung out with the people.

We went back to the church later that night, and then back to the church where we were sleeping.
Sunday some of us did kids ministry while church was going on, and others did skits and shared their testimonies. We then drove back to the church we had been at Saturday. We ate and then had plans to go to another gypsy village...but one of our vans broke down.
We spent the next couple hours trying to figure out what to do, so cleaned up around the church some more and hung out. A guy came to look at the van, but it was a no go, so it was figuring out how to get back here.
We contacted the other church that was about an hour away, and there were a couple of guys there willing to drive us...it was just getting us to the other town. So some piled into the one van we had, and the rest of us piled into the cherry red hippie van....with a backseat that was only meant for 6, and there were 8 of us back there.

We had a blast, we really did. It was an unforgettable adventure. Once we arrived at the other church, 4 of us piled into the backseat of a car that was meant for three...we got really close, haha. It was super good though, we had a great weekend. It was great to just get to serve the church and bless those guys.
