As you can see I have updated my blogs look. To make it feel more...fallish. Just had to follow everyone else you know. Follow the crowd. Gosh, cannot believe I gave into peer pressure!

:P

But anyway, yes its fall! doesn't really feel like fall in our neck of the woods though...least not to me. I though it felt more fallish last week. But I am sure it will soon start to feel more like fall.

And since I really haven't nothing much to say, I'm going to post a few pictures of Taylor working with his two new babies.

then the other one...

Taylor was trying to hobble him...and he just wanted to eat him

pitching son of gun

He jumped around a few more times. Then finally lined out. Taylor did a few more things with him, then ended on a good note :]

I think they are pretty nice little horses, my mom and dad bought them for at the horse sale. I really like the bay, told Taylor he should give him to me :P haha.

So yea anyway. I don't really have much of anything interesting to say. Had the horse sale this last weekend. I went up there Friday night, and Saturday. I don't go to buy...or sell, I go to socialize :P I just hung around talking to Skyler and Sterling, had to go to sonic and get them drinks and mozzerella sticks on Saturday. I'm like a little gopher. Thats ok though.

Thats been about it really, just work :] Tomorrow is when I get to do invoice! I kind of like doing that. It will be sad if the new kid gets to take over it though...but I don't think he will.

Weeelll now I must go finish my food. My family is being blessed with my cooking tonight :P Crockpot sloppy joes, ranch bacon potatoe skins, and tiramusu chessecake! soon I will be making the for real tiramisu...once I find ladyfingers. I've been craving it ever since I lapped my lips over it that one wonderful day in europe... Mmm so yummy...its like the food of the gods. Ok thats a little much, especially since there are no gods. But it is preeety tasty!

jolly :] or...splentations!

thats how i feel, jolly, which I could also say I was splentations (love your word Ducky!) but I like the word jolly :] jolly, jolly, jolly. Thats just a happy word. There really isn't any certain reason for my jollyness, just happy with life I guess :) life is good, sure 'nuff. Ooh and eternal life is even better! :D oh golly, ha, golly rimes with jolly. How fun is that :P

So annnyways. Work is going great, thanks for asking! oh wait...you didn't. Oh well thats alright you can hear about it anyway :D seriously though I really do like it. Robert and Susan are so good to work for, and the other lady that works in there, Caroline, is really nice too. They even invited me to go watch a highschool football game with them! They are pretty big into football, since both Robert's sons play, and he's also a assitant coach...or some sort of a coach :P I was going to go, but then Taylor called and told me Skyler and Sterling were going to be at Cowboy Church, so I went there instead. So maybe I'll go to the next one

I'm learning where nearly everything is at. Which is good, cause its good to be able to actually help people whenever they ask you where something is. What is interesting is whenever someone comes in, and I go ask if they need any help, and then they go to jabbering to me in spanish. I just smile, hold up my finger in a "hold up a minute" kind of way, and go get Caroline. She doesn't speak a lot of spanish, but definitely speaks more then me! haha.

Ooh, and I even learned how to make copy's of keys the other day! that was fuun, fo sho.
I can kind of check people out now :P my most favortie people in the world are the ones that come in with a charge account. I just want to hug them, haha. Cause they are so easy to check out, you put their name in, ring 'em up, put their name in again, print the receit, they sign it and thats it! its great :D even the ones that use a debit, or credit card are great. Cause you just have to swipe their cards a couple of times, put in a couple of things in the computer, they sign the reciet, and your done. Its the cash ones that still get me... but I am learning! like I KNOW how to count back change, I get the concept of it. I am just suuuper slow at it. I have to sit there thinking about it forever sometimes :P but Robert told me that was ok, as long as I was learning. And Caroline tells me I can use the calculator just to make sure and check myself.

I also get to meet a lot of people, there for awhile I was meeting someone everyday. Which is always fun. I'm getting to where I can remember the names of those who are regulars, and we definitely have a lot of regulars! We really don't get that many in there who haven't really ever been there before. We have one old guy that come in everyday, sometimes several times a day. He'll just come in, talk to me and Caroline for awhile, then leave. He's funny :D

The only thing I miss from my last job is getting to ride so much, but I can usually squirrel around and go ride my own horse in the mornings before work. I'll just have to get me a system going, either go and ride before work, then do school at night, OR do school in the morning, and ride in the evening. Which would be great, cause I love riding in the evenings...but then here pretty soon it will start getting dark at like 5:30, which is when I get home. Soooo I go with riding in the morning :]

So yes, its good :) tomorrow is when I get to check all the shipments in, so that will keep me good and busy. I like being busy, I hate just standing around, cause I feel like I should be doing something, but there is nothing to do at times! so I like wednesday, and thursday cause I'm always busy putting the stuff up that I checked in. We may have another kid coming to work there too...can't say for sure....guess I'll be finding out tomorrow. If he does, well...it should makes things...interesting. I guess. I know the kid, so I don't think it'll be a good interesting either :P only time will tell.

Everything thing else is going good, whatever that 'everything' is :P i really haven't been doing much, but work. Taking lots of pictures, discovering my love for cooking, or baking really I guess :P ridin my horse. Well was, until my brother took him away :[ but he should be back by the end of the week! :] school is...urrrgh, school. haha. yea, thats really it :) going to the horse sale this weekend I think. I'm goin Friday after work, since Skyler insisted I go cause he wants a whole bunch of ringtones off my phone. And then I'll probably go Saturday after work too :] so yes, thats my life. My simple, interesting (to me!) fun (for the most part!) jolly good life :D :D given it has it problems at time, and its not all sunshine and roses, but shoot no point in dwelling on such things. We should just live our lives pleasing to the Lord, and I personally don't think the Lord would like us to always been dwelling on sad, depressing things all the time.

So, now that I have rambled WAY to much, about absolutely nothing all...which is something I tend to do when I'm in a jolly mood. I will take my strangly tired body to bed. After I post some pictures! these are of the windmill in the bull pasture.

i must go to the hardware store now :]

oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNIFER!

:] :]

Sunday, September 7, 2008

Well. Work has been good :] I had my first day Wednesday, worked from nine to five, then worked Friday from eight to five, and then yesterday morning. I have met quite a few people, mostly the guys that come in a whole lot, like the old guys :P Saturday morning I met the old fellas that come in at like seven and sit around and drink coffee. One of them I ended up talking to whenever he came into the store later in the morning, and come to find out he is the fella that built our kitchen! pretty cool :] LeAnna you were right, I do get to hear stories!

I'm beginning to learn where everything is at, so now I can kind of actually help people whenever they come into the store asking for something. I usually have to end up hollering at Caroline (the other lady that works in there) and asking her where its at. Its usually the plumbing stuff that gets me. And then there's checking people out... I can... kind of do it. But I do have difficulties. Being horrible at math doesn't help at all :P but I am slowly learning... I think.

So yes, I think its going to be a good job. I'm glad to be working, and it looks like I'll be getting some good hours.

That is pretty much all that is going on. Maybe I will have something more interesting to write about on a later date. I'm going to go fall asleep to the awesomeness of Aaron Watson now... or maybe Reckless Kelly.

:]
