Chicken house cleaning, and a rescue mission

Sunday night I got to go to a AMAZING concert. Shane & Shane, Bebo Norman, and a new girl, Alli Rogers. I liked her a lot. It was somewhat funny though. I hung out with Jessica after church, and we killed time waiting for the concert. Then we called and got a friend of ours, Camille to go with us. So we went to go pick her up. I called and asked what the name of the road she lived was, and she said Prager, I thought she said Fraiser... maybe I need a hearing aid... anyhow we turned on one road that looked like it was going to take us to someones house and this giant killer attack dog came out!!! okay so maybe it was just a black lab, and wasn't a giant...but it was mean... Jessica rolled up her window and turned around and spun out of there. It was amusing :) Then we finally found Camilles house, oh the experiances I have...

But yeah anyways it was a really good concert. Started at 7. And ended at 10:00 I got home at 11:30. I felt bad cause my parents had to come get me. Well Jessica took me half way. I drove the rest of the way home, and they fell asleep. I don't like driving my dads pickup much, the headlights aren't very bright. And it goes all over the road. It's not the greatest pickup.... I did feel bad though that my parents had to go get me so late...

Next day I didn't want to get out of bed. But I had to. I had...work. It was not bad. My boss did come out and ride with me once. But other then that it was allll good. It was somewhat cold though. I got home at 12:30, ate some dinner, then cleaned up the kitchen. And decided to lay down for just a little while. 30 minutes. I needed to make my almond crumble twist again for youth that night. (which by the way was good, and a big hit at cowboy church) So I layed down on the living room floor and drifted off to sleep. Remember I said I thought I'd only sleep for about 30 minutes or so. Even if I didn't wake up I thought surely someone would wake me up... I wake up. And it's 3:00!!! WHAT! I went to sleep at like... 1 something, I don't remember. I wasn't the happiest person in the world... so then I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to get that dessert made.... and did I get it done?? Yes I did :) barely.

Yesterday... well nothing really exciting happened yesterday. My mom got some cats... I got to have the house to myself for awhile... and yeah... that was about it.

Now we move on to today. I awake, go through my normalish morning routine, blah, blah, blah. I then sit down for just a second at the desk and try to do this stupid puzzle... okay so maybe it was more then a minute. But this puzzle is horrible. It's called Triazzle puzzle, and it's not easy. I'd done it several different times before but that was like several years ago. Belive me it's not easy. Just ask my dad, it took him two days to do it, it's only 16 pieces.

Anyways. My mom asked me and my lil bro to do some stuff. Nathan do... something or the other with the kitten. Me clean out the old chicken house, behind our house for the kittens...what? me, go in there. Where there is possiblity of spiders and snakes. Both creatures I hate with a passion. Please no. Did I get out of it? no. I walk out there and open the door... and! A BIG HAIRY CREATURE JUMPS OUT AT ME!!!!!!!........ okay, maybe not. Nothing jumped out at me. All that was in there was a bunch of junk, and a lot of cob webs. Ugh. So I start pulling junk out. Thankfully there weren't any snakes or critters in there. It wouldn't have been good. If I'd had found a snake...well... I don't know what would have happened but I would have probably screamed. Seriously.

I get that done. Come in the house. And procceed to clean up the breakfast dishes. When Nathan comes running into the house telling me that one of the cats is stuck in the barn. Stuck where I ask. On the salt block.... uh how can the cat be stuck on the salt block I ask. He just drags me out there. The problem. There was one stack of salt sacks, which had, well salt. My dad feeds it to the cows. There was a big stack of it. A crate, then more sacks. Then stupid cat had gotton in under the crate... and couldn't get out. How the cat got in, and couldn't get out.... I just don't understand this. So I tried to pull it out. It didn't fit. I try several different things. No luck. So the only thing I can do move the salt sacks. I being the dummy I am try and push the whole stack. Why did I think I could even do that? I mean seriously. There is a ton, and they weigh 50 pounds. That's not to heavy. But whenever you have a ton of them it's not much fun. So I start taking them all off. After awhile. And almost falling off the stupid thing I get the off and lift up the crate and the cat runs away. Did I get a thankyou? nope. Well your very welcome... ungrateful little brat. So that was that.

Now I have dinner dishes to take care of. Then I have to go throw some clothes together. I have to go to my bosses house tonight. She and her husband are going out of town tonight and she wanted someone at her house to greet the trick or treaters. So she asked me to stay there, overnight. By my wee little self.... to scare... I mean... uhhhh... give candy to the sweet little trick or treaters.... oh boy! I'll let ya'll know how is goes. Adios.

Mister Maturity

My day started off with me getting woke up by my mom telling me to go outside cause there were some guys out there in a pickup and to go see what they wanted. She sayed she'd go but she was still in her pajamas... well so was I. She must love me... send your daughter out some some weirdos. This is what she said about that. "I'd have a gun here in the house and if they tried to grab you I'd shoot them." hmm.. maybe I needed to be the one with the gun. So I sleepily got up and peered out my window. And sure anough there were two guys, in a green Ford sititing in our parking lot... kind of strange? I thought so. By the time I was dressed they were pulling out and leaving. And I watched them drive off very slowing down the rode. It was kind of creepy. We thought maybe hunters, but they sure didn't look like hunters. This was all at 7:30 in the morning mind you. Hmmm... it was pretty strange.

So anyways I curl up on the sofa, cover up and dove back off to sleep until 8:00... okay so I'm a bum, I don't care. Then I unwilling go outside to the cold to turn out our milk cow. We put her in with the calf in the mornings and evening so the calf can suck. I then feed the dogs. Come back in and procceed to start cleaning my room. I wanted to ride. But alas! the horses weren't up. Dangitt. I clean out my desk, do different little things. Then my mom tells me if I clean up the house I won't have to do school. Alrighty. As much as I hate cleaning, it's not as bad as school. So most of the morning was filled with cleaning.

Later on it's time for dinner, spagetti. And I get to sit in the kitchen and eat with Nathan while my mom goes in the living room and watches the news. How messed uo is that!? Oh well I don't like the news anyways. We have a interesting coversation.

Nathan: "I'm a very mature person."
Me: "No your not. Mature people don't whine, and cry, and act like baby everytime they don't get their way."
Nathan: "Mature means that you know stuff, and your smart."
Me: "No not really. Maturity is when you act like a adult and don't whine, and cry and act like a baby."
Nathan: "Well then I'm smarter."
Me: "Are you saying I'm dumb."
Nathan (gives me a smirkish look and says in sarcastic tone) "No your smart too."
Me: "uh huh. Whatever Nathan. Eat your spagetti."
Nathan: "I'll tell you all the stuff I know."
Me: "I don't really care."
Nathan: (goes off on something.)
Me: "I'm not listening. I don't care. Lalalalala."
Nathan: "You can still hear me. (continues his "smart" talk then finally stops talking... ok so that was just something I wished would have happened. He NEVER stops talking)

Aren't we both just so mature :) Later on I hear him in here whinying to mama about something and I say. "Naaathan. You aren't being very maaatuure.".... he really wasn't. Well anyways I'll leave ya'll with that little story. I must now go cook! or bake... whatever. I'm making a almond crumble twist. Sure hope it's good! I'll let ya'll know if it is :) Chow. Or whatever.

Fun Weekend

My brother in law was invited to go down to a bronc riding in Seymour Texas on Saturday. So we all headed down there Friday. Went to my grandma's house and stayed up until about 1:00 talking and such. The next morning I slept in until about 8... So I was a bum, I don't care. It would have been only 7 here at home... so we went and had some breakfast. Just kind of sat around and talked. Took showers.
We had our smaller cousins with us. Daylynn, Laurie and Jared, so I took them out on the deck (my grandma has a ... uhh... pond I guess you could say out behind her house) and there is a very nice deck out on it. So I wanted to take the kiddos pictures. And my grandma has a Nikon D80 and she let me use it :) very nice. We left at 10:30 for Seymour and got to the rodeo grounds at 11:00. The actual bronc riding started at 12:00. It was fun, I enjoyed watching it. But they drug it out until really late. And John didn't get a score cause he blew a stirrup, that really stunk. It was a stupid rule... but whatever, I'm not going to get bitter over it. Anyways. At like 3 or so we went to DQ and had a hamburger, least me and Taylor did. Then we had some ice cream :) yum. We headed out to my grandparents (my dads parents) stayed out there for awhile.

After awhile me, Taylor, John, and Jennifer loaded up and went back to my grandma's to get ready for the dance. It was somewhat funny cause when we got to the rodeo grounds there is a building right before you enter the rodeo grounds. And we thought that was where the dance was at... and we walked in and it ended up being a wedding reception... we uh... felt kind of stupid. Well we found where the actual dance. It was... not that great. They had a live band and that was pretty cool. But there weren't really anybody there me and Taylor's age, pretty much everybody was drunk. It just wasn't that great. My cousin Sharria showed up though with some of her friends so I atleast had someone to hang out with. Then she had me dance with one of her friends.... But yeah it just wasn't the greatest dance. Jennifer and John enjoyed it though. We got home at 12:00, crashed. Woke back up at 8... again.... oh well. Then... what did we do... we sat around eating breakfast and talking for awhile. I took pictures of Jennifer and John, and my mom and dad. And some of granny. She gave me a little Nikon she had, a Nikon cool pix, 5.0 MG 8xoptical zoom. I really like it. So then we all got ready, packed, and left. We went out to my granddads old place. It was extremely sad. I hadn't been out there since he passed away, so it had been about 4 years.... we hung out there for awhile. Went down to the Brazos river which is behind the house a ways. Then we got on the road. I drove some of the way, and man the wind was blowing like crazy! I didn't like driving in it at all. We got home at about 9:00. And it was coooooold. A northern had blown in... and... dang! haha. So that was pretty much it. It was cold today too, I had a ton of clothes at work today... So I'll end this long, and boring post. Sorry it's not more interesting.

Morning with a little brother, and chores,

This morning my mom left for her quitling class which is every other week... I think. My daddy was gone, and Taylor was gone day working again. So that leaves me home alone with Nathan. For the entire morning. With a chore list:
Nathan:
Take out chicken scraps
Feed Dogs
Pick up trash in bad and put in trash cans
Clean water trough at barn
Put up your clothes
Make your bed
Dust the living room and your bedroom
Give Ginger and Sugar a bath.

Sara:
Clean Kitchen
Mop bathroom and kitchen
Vacuum
Clean your room, that means dust the shelves and such
Get your clothes together for the trip to Texas
Finish the cookies
Clean the tub after the dogs have had their bath

Both get some school done.

Okay, easy enough. I was going to do most of those things anyways. I'm just really glad she already had dinner cooking. So anyway lets get started. Nathan rolls out of bed at.. 8:00 I think.
He takes awhile to wake up. He is not a morning person, and can very cranky whenever he wakes up. He gets woke up and wanders the house aimlessly. I tell him "Nathan get some breakfast I need to get the kitchen cleaned up." I get a "Okay, okay." in response. He wanders around the kitchen going through the cabinets forever and just going through the cabinets over, and over. Finally he says.

Nathan: "I'll just have some cinnamon toasties."
Me: "Nathan I don't think there are any."
Nathan: "Yes there are."
Me: "No Nathan I don't think there are very many."
(He looks in the bag)
Nathan "Oh."
Me: "Have some rice crispies."
Nathan: "They are old."
Me: "No they aren't."
Nathan: "Yes they are we've probably had them since the first of the summer!"
Me: (rolls eyes) "No we haven't we've had them two weeks. And besides rice crispies can't get old." (okay so I don't really know if they can or not, but whatever)
Nathan: "Can't I just have a couple of cookies."
Me: "For breakfast!?! No!"

He finally decides to get the rice crispies. I start to clean. I start witht he living room. I get it all picked up and such. And pick up Nathan's dirty socks... this child always, always leaves his dirty socks everywhere. He doesn't believe in wearing clean ones. So he take them off, stuffs them in the sofa cusions, under the coffee table, leaves them on the kitchen table, coffee table, places such as that. I don't know what is with this kid. Me and my mom both tell him all the time to pick up his stinkin' dirty socks! weirdo. Anways moving on I get the living room all picked up (It was a a horrible mess by the way)

It was then like 9:00 and I realize that Ginger isn't around... hmm odd. I ask Nathan where she is, he doesn't know. I holler for her. Nothing. I go into Nathan's room and call her. I see movement under the covers, and hear a tap tap. "Ginger get out of bed." she sticks her nose out. "Come on Ginger get your lazy butt out of bed." she finally comes comes slinking all the way out.

So I put her outside and walk into the kitchen and Nathan is staring off into space. I say. "Nathan get to eating." He just looks at me... Then starts to eat.
I start vacuuming. He comes running into the living room. Jumps onto the sofa, starts jumping up and down and does the ape man, beating on the chest thing. I screech at him over the vacuum cleaner. "Do not jump on the sofa and go get some clothes on! it's 9:00." Well he doesn't. He grabs a pillow in his teeth and starts swinging it around. Then he leaps of the sofa still swinging the pillow in his teeth. And then starts beating the floor with the pillow... why? I have no idea. Maybe he was imagining it was me. So I tell him again to go and he finally goes in and starts getting dressed. I get done vacuuming and he emerges from his room. I tell him what his first thing is on the list. I move on to the kitchen. This is what I had to clean.

Wonderful huh? I get busy. Nathan comes in after awhile. I read him off more stuff to do. He whines about it but goes and does it. A little later he comes in again. I tell the list says for him to go clean the water trough.

Nathan: "I don't want to."

Me: "Well you have to do it anyways."

Nathan: "I don't know why I have to clean it out! Why can't you!?"

Me: "Because I'm doing stuff too."

Nathan stomps out the stoor, slams to door, turns around and glares at me... well don't we have a attitude.

I continue my task.
After awhile I'm done with the kitchen! I have it mopped and everything. Here is what we have

Ahhh much better :) I do the corn bread. During this I have Nathan throwing a fit cause he "Doesn't know how to make his bed." uh huh, yeah right. I get him to do it. And after even more whining and complaining I get him to wash the dogs. I hear a lot of stuff from in the bathroom where he's washing to dog.
"Sugar no!. No sugar stay still.".... "Sugar!".... "Sugar you stupid dog." Then he makes all kinds of noises, growling, huffing, such as that. Then I move on to the bathroom. I walk in, there is water all over the floor, seriously. Of course the badtub is filthy. There are dirty clothes, and like 3 wet towels all over the foor. The wet towels and wet floor I can figure out... the dirty clothes all over the floor, I just can't figure that out. They were all in the hamper this morning... I'm thinking, Nathan. Well I get that all cleaned up, bleach everything. Scrub the tub with comet. Mop. Get the corn bread out of the oven. And now... I'm writing this. Waiting for my dad to get home so we can eat. I guess I should finish do my final task... school... yuck. Then maybe this afternoon I can go ride, after I finish the cookies..... oh and do my room... dang.... Well... I'll end another long post. Adios.

I hate goats.

I had a pretty good day. I went to work, got up the horses and all that stuff. Just went through the regular things. We had clients today (I work at a theraputic horseback ridng center). At 9:00 we had little kids, 9. So we took 3 groups. The worst one we have is Eric, his brain is messed up. So he kind of goes crazy with his hands, he tried to pull hair, slap, and do all kinds of stuff. He can't help it though, and he's sooo cute. We have some really cute kids that come. Well after we get done with that group we have adults that come at 10:30. By this time it's starting to get slightly warm outside. So we switch saddles to the bigger ones, and find out there are only 5 people that came so we take a rest for a minute. I really enjoy this group. My two favorites that come are George, and Ryder. George isn't real bad messed or, but he is blind, and he has artificial eyes. He's awesome though. He likes to ask all kind of questions, like what grade I'm in, what color my socks are, if I drive, such as that. And Ryder is cool, I can just grin at him and he starts laughing... I wonder if he's laughing at me.... hmmm... well anyways it's a cool group. And I really enjoy my job. But I don't like my boss much... she was in a foul mood today, but she pretty much always is.

Well at 12:30 we get done then get the horses put up. And go eat. At a mexican food restraunt... you want to know what I got? a chesseburger, yep that's right. It was pretty darn good too :) Well I finally get to go home. I arrive there at like... 2:30... I think. I sit inside the house for about 15 or so minutes then go out and wash my pickup. Yes my pickup. I am the owner of a little green Nissan, that's right. It's one cool ride. So that takes about... a hour. I get it all nice and clean, inside and out. While I'm listening to my Jonas Brothers cd that I just recently purchased, good cd.

I go in the house after, do some wonderful, enjoyable, awesome school... enjoyable, wonderful, awesome... yeah right. Then... what did I do... oh then I just sat there... yeah I was a bum. Nathan turns on the tv, I just sit there. Tired, and completely out of it. My mom and dad leave to go into town, so I had to be stuck here with Nathan. We watch a episode of the Suite life of Zach and Cody, yeah I watch disney channel... so what.... Then we go and do... the chours. So we're 'goatsitting' some well goats for some friends of ours that are out of town for a few days. There are two, and they are milk goats. So yeah they need to be milked. So I put Nathan to turning in the cow, feeding my dads horse, stuff like that. And I go catch one of the wonderful, and sweet little goats... uh I wish. The first one try to get on the stantion and it just stands there. I put one leg up there, then she jumps up there. Well then she won't stick her stupid head in the... head thing... finally she puts it in. I sit there and milk her, she tries to kick the stupid milk bucket over. I get her done, and then we move on to the other one... oh and I forgot to mention these goats are suffering from seperation anxiety. Whatever, stupid goats. I put her up, we move onto the next one. She also doesn't want to get on the stantion. She keeps trying to take of on me (I have a orange string collar on her neck. Orange string is.. well string that holds to bales of hay) well she keeps trying to take of. I get her up there. Get her milk. Finish the chours, and everything. I go instead. Nathan comes
"One of the goats is out! the gate wasn't latched" Oh and I did tell the child to latch the gate. I get the idiot back in and then come back in to take a bath. And while I'm in the midst of washing the soap out of my hair Nathan comes and starts banging on the door. I turn of the water
"What!?"
"The goats are out again!!!"
I just sigh try and finish washing my hair, get on some clothes then go out and try to get the stupid goats back in. It takes us 30 stinking minutes! needless to say I was not very happy. At all. Stupid, stupid goats. Now I remember why I HATE milking goats, and that I HATE goats.

Oh dang, this has been a really long post, and not very interesting... hmmm I should really have more interesting posts... well I'm out.

Nathan's song...

This is Nathan's song that he sang ealier during while we were riding.

I'm baying a song about rabbits
I'm baying a song about rabbits
I'm baying a song about rabbits
Cause I'm a hound, oh yeah, cause I'm a hound.
I love to chase rabbits, I love to chase rabbits, I love to chase rabbits, cause I'm a hound.
I have a dog friend, her name is Maggie, Maggie is jealous, oh yeah Maggie is jealous, cuz she wants to be a hound, oh yeah she wants to be a hound.
I'm baying a song about rabbits
I'm baying a song about rabbits, oh yeah.
And I forgot to mention my name, my name is Sugar, and I love to chase rabbits.

Think he'll be a famous song writer when he's older?.... I don't think so. It was somewhat amusing though. I'm sure there were more lines but I can't remember them. He just broke out into song after he said
"I love to listen to Sugar bay, it's so pretty."
Then that is when he burst into song... strange, strange little man.

I haven't really had much to write about. My weekend was good, just because Joshua came home. He spent the saturday here at our house. I felt really bad though cause we didn't do ANYTHING at all. Just sat around... and then Ross and Lora came over later and had supper with us, they are great people. Oh and Friday night we went to fair. It was... okay. I got there and had to walk around all alone for like 2 hours cause nobody I knew was there. So I went through and looked at the animals several times, went through the arts and crafts building... looked at my photography and all the other photography. Then my friend Camille showed up and we hung out some, and then Jessica and one of her friends from work came and we wandered around. Ate food, such as that. There was waaaay to many people there though, some very, very strange people... Anyways.

Sunday... went to church, came home ate some dinner... then... oh we did watch that movie 'Save the last dance' it was okay. We were pretty much bums. Monday morning I wake up to find Joshua sitting on our couch, at 5:30 in the morning. I wake up from Ginger barking, I don't know why she's barking. But she eventually shuts up, so I lay there not knowing there is someone in the house. I get up, close my door, turn on the light and change into some jeans and a tshirt. Walk out of my room and Joshua is sitting there. I saw someone and I was like... what the heck, then oh my gosh it's Joshua. Haha. We talked, ate some cereal. And then later my mom came down and about had a heart attack when she saw him. It was somewhat dark, and she didn't have her glasses. She didn't see me, and she freaked out... it was funny :) So I had to leave for work at 7:30 and that is when he headed out... Went to work...It was really cold, but I loved it. It was a pretty uneventful day there, I had one horse shy at a man eating bush... crazy animal. It was weird though cause it was kind of all a blur that morning. Whenever it was 11 it still felt like it should be 8, or 9 and that I shouldn't be going home yet... hmmm...

So I get home, do... stuff I don't remember what all I did. I did make a cake, a honey bun cake. It's like death in a pan, seriously. All sugar, but very good :) Then I got to go youth, I enjoyed that awhole lot. Today... I... did school, cleaned house, and my room, rode my horse, dozed off on the couch.... and yeah... I just got off the phone with Caitlin a bit ago, we had a.. uh... interesting conversation... I'm not going to repeat what we talked about because it is just to crazy... Lemme just say if you ever here of a show called "Everyone loves grapes." well we'll be the ones who created it... Well I think I'm going to end this very boring, and very long post. I do apoligize, it is pretty boring. I need to go crawl into bed now.

Blessed.

This morning my mom had to feed the crew. So I as always get stuck in the house cleaning, wishing like crazy I could be out helping work cattle... but I don't get too because I was born a girl... We won't get into that right now because it doesn't matter. So anyways this afternoon I decided to go on a nice joy ride on my horse Pecos.

I had a very nice time, got my head cleared about some stuff and it was pretty enjoyable. I came upon a rattlesnake, stupid nasty snakes... I have snake issues. And on the way back I came upon some Antelope, which isn't a rare thing for out here. And then I was riding along, looked down at the ground and there was this little creature looking up at me. I had to look twice, and oh dang it was a owl! a little burrowing owl. It just sat there... or whatever owls do, looking at me. Then it flew onto a mesquite bush and started making strange sounds...hmmm... weird owl.

It was such a nice day out too. I love Fall, Winter and Fall are my most favorite seasons. I like Winter cause I love the cold, and snow. And Fall... I just love it. It has a different feel to it.. I don't know how to explain it, but it's wonderful. After my ride I was talking on the phone to Caitlin, and I was out on the porch... and it just felt so nice. Spring and Summer don't have this feel.. I just feels... Fallish I guess.

And then the cows got to bawling. Now to most people this might be annoying, but I love it. It puts me to sleep at night... so maybe I'm just weird, who cares. I was thinking about it while riding. And I am so very blessed. I mean how many people get to experiance what I do all the time. The feeling of just being out on a horse, all alone... well besides for some dogs and wildlife. Just the feeling of that, and then just kicking your horse into a lope, leaning down and you go faster, and faster... that is a great feeling. And then getting to hear the coyotes yip, I love that. Early in the morning, or late in the evening they get to yipping, I love listening to it. And then getting to smell the wonderful smell of branding smoke. Are being able to see the stars so clearly at night. Waking up early and watching to sun come up, and watching to clouds turn different colors, or watching the sun set. Breathing in the fresh clear air. Or so many of the other wonderful things.

I truly am blessed. There aren't many people who get to experiance these kind of things. I think everybody should atleast once. God has blessed me in so many ways. And I sometime forget, I get ungrateful and mad when things don't go how I want them too, I had to deal with that today. And then I go out on my horse, talk to God and look around at all that I have... and just think... wow. He's given me all this, and He loves me I don't deserve it, but He still does.
Now I'll leave ya'll with this... this babbling of mine, it's late and I sometimes have a tendacy to babble when it's late. So good night to all.

Brownies!

I just got done making brownies :) Oddessa Chocolate Brownies. The recipe.

2 sticks butter

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 cup flour

8 heaping teaspoons cocoa

1 teaspoon vanilla

pinch of salt

1 cup pecans (optional)

Prehead oven to 300. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.

Cream the butter and sugar together and add the eggs, one at a time.

Sift flour and cocoa together. Add to the egg mixture. Add the vanilla, and salt and mix. Pour into pan until the top is crispy and firm to the touch, about 25-35 minutes.

They take a lot of butter, but they are full of chocolately goodness... chocolateie... chocolaty... whatever... Very good :) I'll tell ya I'm the messiest cook. I get that from my dad. He's worse then I am though. Here is what it looks like whenever I cook,
That isn't bad compared to what it looks like most of the time.
Anyways so I decide to make brownies I go in there and get started. Nathan come in there, jumps up on the cabinet and just watches me... and hiccups.
Me: "What are you doing?"
Nathan: "Watching you."
Me:"Why?"
Nathan:"Because I like too watch people cook."
Me: "Well your hiccuping and it's kind of annyoing."
Nathan: "Okay I'll try to stop." (Hiccup)
Me: (rolls eyes and starts cooking)

Why this child likes to sit there and watch people cook, I'll never know. So I cook, with the little child hovering over me. Then we have this coversations.

Nathan: (holds up pepper) "This needs to be thrown away."
Me: "Why? It looks fine to me."

Nathan: "Because look it has a hole in it."
Me: "So what."
Nathan: "It has a cavity."

He's a little strange sometimes. Well now I start mixing.

Nathan: "When your done can I lick the beaters."
Me: "No."
Nathan: "Why?"

Me: "Because raw egg is bad for you and can make you sick."
Nathan: "No it doesn't. Rocky drinks eggs, and it gives him protien."
Me: "You still can't have it."

Well of course he actually ended up licking it anyways. Oh and if you don't know who Rocky is... well that's just crazy, Rock Balboa-Slyvester Stalone. From the boxing movies, Rocky. I think those were our only strange conversations :) And now I'm going to end this pointless post and go eat one of those yummy brownies.
