Just a Saturday afternoon

My most favorite little nephew came for a visit today.

I quite like that kid, just a little.

He is a lot of fun, and just so full on energy! He is a hoot with his faces, and all the noises he makes. He does wear a soul out with all his running arounds. But I love him anyway.

He loves riding, just sits there as happy as a bird with a french fry. Eventually his little head got to bobbing, and next thing I know he's off in dream land.

What a cute one he is...
maybe I'm just biased?

I love books.

Hello 2010

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm in Texas right now, for a weekend of family time! :D I am currently camped out in my grandma's basement right now, I made it until midnight, and am now wild eyed and bushy tailed.

Crazy to think a new year is here already! seems like it wasn't that long ago and we were just beginning 2009. It always seems very exciting to start out a new year, just seeing what is holds. What the Lord has.

2009 seemed to go by so fast, but it seemed like so much went on. I was in a new job, have met tons of new people, some of them being really close friends now, which I am very thankful for.
So here's a smallish recap, with pictures, you know how I am ;)

the best thing, this little guy came into the world. I really do have the cutest nephew ever, no lie.

I got a new camera ((it was a great moment for me, okay!)

I helped put together a house in San Leon, Texas!

and met all these amazing people

I spent a week in the Bahamas! and fell in the love with the kids, and met more amazing people!

Those were the bigger things that happened

It was definitely a year of new and interesting things, and many new friends (:
