Mononucleosis

Aka, Mono.


The disease that my body is riddled with. That has taken over my life. That has weakened me beyond words.



I like being overly dramatic, it makes me feel better inside.



I started coming down with something last week. Monday I was dragged to the doctor for an examination. The strep test came back negative, so they drew blood. Tuesday morning the good doctor man called to inform us the mono test came back positive.
Goody.

So what does one do when they have mono?

Sleep.
Sleep.
Sleep.

I've been through two books so far. If you ever get a chance, read the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers.

Learn to tool leather!
My dad is a pretty beastly leather guy all around. So today I had him show me some stuff.

Not all that great, but I'm learning! And I enjoy it.

And just for the sake of the whole keeping it real thing.

I discovered my dad's glasses kind of helped with the more precise work.

Attractive, I know.

Really though, this thing is just a inconvenience. A big fat inconvenience. I don't like being sick, I don't like missing work, I don't like not being able to do anything. I've never been out for being sick more then, maybe a couple days. So I had to whine and complain and be a big baby about it for awhile. Until I decided it was getting me nowhere, and I might as well deal with it.

I just don't.like.being.sick.

But I'm dealing with it.


Time for PS I Love You. I'm told its a good movie, but I will not appreciate it if it makes me cry.


Oh and just for the record, yes I DO know mono is known as the kissing disease.
And NO my boy friend is not infected.
