The end

I encourage ya'll to, as Colossians says "as you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith..."

No matter what life throws are you, continue to walk in Him. I plead with you to do so. Its so easy to stray, to do your own thing, and in the battle against the flesh to let the flesh win. I know how hard it is, and even more so now then before. Since being back from Hungary I have had the hardest time spiritually, it has been one of the biggest spiritual battles I have ever had. And I am ashamed to say that I have been so on and off with the Lord since being back, more off and then on. I realized how horribly weak I really am. Its hard coming off that mountain, I came back and was just on this spiritual high for several weeks. Then slowly I just began to come off. I let myself get so beat down by people. People who expected me to be this way cause I had been to Bible College, or people who wanted me to be this other way. I felt like people were judging me, knew some were. Especially during my hardest times spiritually, whenever I wasn't walking. I knew people were disappointed in me. Because of that I began to focus on pleasing people instead of pleasing God, and it was just a downhill slide from there. It's amazing how every decision we make can be based on whether it will please these people, or those people. So then most things you do are fake cause your just doing them for man.

It goes from that to complete opposite, and letting yourself completely go cause you just don't care at all anymore. You aren't trying to please anyone at all anymore, God or people. The things you do are pretty much defiant against everyone cause your mad, and tired of being beat down. Then people judge you even more.

But ya know what, the Lord is gracious. He was standing there waiting for me whenever I came back. Whenever I realized again there was no way I could survive this life without Him. Whenever I once again realized that pleasing people doesn't matter, it gets you no where. Cause you are never going to please everyone, they are constantly going to be judging you. Pleasing God does matter though, He is the only one that matters. He is forgiving, and loving. I realized again how much He loves me, and just wants me to be with Him. And then I wanted to love Him with all my being, to walk in Him.

The battle is still there though, and will always be there. But the Lord is my strength. He is there to help me through the tough times, even if nobody else is, cause the people are still there, they will also always be there, judging but their opinion of me doesn't matter. People are going to judge you no matter what. I do have people who I don't want to think badly of me, cause I respect them. But I don't want that to consume me. Cause of God's opinion matters the most.

We are to take up the whole armor of God, so that we will be able to withstand the wiles of the devil. We need to take it up everyday. Cause satan is always there, every day. Using different things to get to us, people, money, lust, whatever, he is never going away. But we can fight :)

As I said before, I am ashamed that I have been so off with the Lord, but then I know that through it all He's taught me things. I have truly learned how easy it is to just stray away, so now I won't judge people whenever they go through the same thing as me, cause I now understand.

So I again encourage you to walk in Him, stay rooted and built up, take up the whole armor God. Cause whenever you do that you will be able to withstand the attacks, you can only do it with the Lord, there is NO way you can do it by yourself. I know that now. And don't worry about pleasing men, only worry about pleasing God.

As Paul would say at the end of one of his letters.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

rambliness of sunday night.

Hiii ya'll!! :] :] :]

Hope this find you all doing finer 'n frogs hair!

Forgive my lack of posting...I just don't seem to find things to post about. But alas here I am with not much to say. Eating a bowl of icecream :)

So...err....ehh...umm...what to say....
Work has been good :D I got to drive my bosses pickup the other dayyyy! Its a big ole Ford pickup. I'd like to be able to drive that around every day :P I am still meeting people. Get to be around the cool old guys :D The one that comes in like everyday, Clifford is so funny, and would be so cool to just sit down and talk to sometime. Cause he was in World War II, and I also found out he is the fella that built the kitchen in our house! Pretty crazy, then the barber accross the street comes over and talks to us some too. Both he and Clifford try and play matchmaker for me and Caroline. Its so funny :D Its all pretty cool.

Uhm... this last weekend was pretty fun! I went up to the fair on Thursday morning before work, and watched the steer show. Then after work on Friday I went back up there, got to see how my pictures did that I entered...then tried to stay away from the weirdos...there was definitely some WEIRDOS up there. Jessica came and we ate food, then went to the PBR...it was...ok. Better then last year, but not worth 20 dollars...and I'm not a huge fan of bull riding. But ohhhweells. It was fun, afterward we went and had more food, and met this strange little guy at the republican stand. He was kind of funny, but awful strange. Yea. I got to discover the amaaaziness of dip'ndots! yuuum. So yea, I didn't get home until 11:30! waaaaay past my bedtime.

Yesterday my mom was the hostess of this jewerly party, and Jess came, we went riding, it was fun, and FUUUNNNY! haha, I love Jessica :) She just makes my day.

Well, I really don't have anythng else to say. haha. Don't you love my random posts where i say alot, but don't really say anything at all :P

So I will leave ya'll with a recipe...and a couple of pictures. This one if just for you LeAnna!

Tiramisu Cheesecake Dessert
1 package (12 ounces) vanilla wafers
5 teaspoons instant coffee granules (divided)
3 tablespoons hot water (divided)
4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup whipped topping
1 tablespoon baking cocoa

Layer half of wafers in a greased 13-in. x9-in, x 2-in baking dish. In a small bowl, dissolve 2 teaspoons coffee granules in 2 tablespoons hot water. Brush wafers with half of coffee; set remaining mixture aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and sour cream until smooth. Add eggs; beat on low speed until just combined. Divde batter in half. Dissolve remaning coffee granules in remaning hot water; stir into one portion of batter. Spread over wafers. Layer with remaining wafers; brush with reserved coffee, Top with remaining batter,
Bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes ir until center is almost set. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Carefully run a knife around edge to loosen; cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight. Spread with whipped topping; dust with cocoa.

It was preeety tasty :D I didn't let mine refridgerate overnight, I just stuck it in the freezer for a few hours. The only thing is it didn't taste just a whole lot like tiramisu, mostly just like cheesecake. It was good though. I did make the real tiramisu the other day! YUM. I found the ladyfingers, and the stinkin expensive cheese...I had to leave the brandy out though, cause we didn't have any. Sooo I will just have to get my mom to buy me some, then make it again :P
So thats all.
