Mostly ramblings.

I want to be curled up, asleep on the sofa right now. I don't feel super great today... It started yesterday, my back starting to ache horribly, than it moved down to my legs and just got worse as the day went on. Then I got a headache, and my stomach didn’t feel all that great. The minute we got home from Cowboy Church I downed a couple of Tylenol's and went to bed, I started getting really cold too so I added a big blanket to my bed… and laid there… trying to go to sleep… finally, after about 20 minutes I was out.

I woke up feeling a little better this morning, but not super great. So, I don’t know what it is. I don’t really feel like I have a cold or anything… who knows. I don’t reckon I’m going to die ;-) It’s just some weird thing. Maybe I’ll be able to sleep some later on today, sleep always helps. Maybe I’ll go ride this afternoon… that’ll probably help… maybe?

Right now I’m getting to be lady of the house. My mom went with Karin, Lora, and Jennifer to a lady’s conference type thing. Featuring, Jean Prescott, and I don’t know who else. I had thought about going, but decided last night I probably wouldn’t feel like it. It started at 9:30, which put my mom leaving at 8:30 and I don’t think it was going to be over until 3:00… or something like that. So, I stayed. And now, I get to cook and clean. Joy. I’m trying a new dish out today, Easy taco casserole. I don’t know if it’ll be any good or not. I like learning to make new things, but there is always the first time making it. You don’t know if you’ll do it right, or if it’ll be any good… So, I hope it is good. It is really simple. You cook hamburger meat, mix in salsa, mayonnaise (yes mayonnaise, kind of strange if you ask me) and chili powder. Then, in a casserole dish you layer the meat, 2 cups of crushed tortilla chips, and two different kinds of cheeses. It’s in the oven right now… I needed to make something with it, but had no idea what it was I could make. I thought about rice…. But I haven’t exactly mastered rice yet… and I just didn’t want to mess with it today, then I thought about biscuits. They don’t exactly go with taco type stuff, but my family loves biscuits so I didn’t figured they’d care…. Then I discovered we didn’t have any shortening. Phooey. So… I may open up some corn or something… I don’t know. Hmmm….

So anyway… I went to check my email earlier and whenever you first sign in a page comes up that has like news and such. I saw one link that made me laugh, “Woman stopped after skeleton found in luggage.” I was like… wow. So, of course I had to check it out. I mean… c’mon. So I clicked on the link and this is what it said.

MUNICH, Germany - A woman was stopped at Munich airport after baggage control handlers found the skeleton of her brother sealed in a plastic bag in her luggage, police said Wednesday.

The 62-year-old woman and her 63-year-old friend, who both live in Italy, were hauled in by airport police Tuesday after a scan of the bag showed a human skull and other bones. The women were traveling to Italy from Brazil.

It turned out that the woman was trying to fulfill the last wish of her brother — who died 11 years ago in Sao Paulo, Brazil — to be buried in Italy.

The travelers produced the appropriate papers from Brazilian authorities for the unusual transport, and were allowed to carry on their way to Naples — bones and all.

Wow…. It honestly made me laugh. Can you imagine, somebody just scanning some luggage and then the scan shows a bag of bones in the luggage. Haha. Imagine how creepy that would be… just scanning some luggage… then… OH MY GOSH! There’s a dead person in this old ladies luggage!! I wonder what was going through their heads. How… creepy. I mean, the dude had been dead 11 years. Did she dig him up or what? And I wonder why the dude wanted to be buried in Italy… How… strange… Think about getting papers for that… “Umm excuse me. I need some papers to carry a skeleton.”

Goodness.

Then I found out Scarlett Johansson sold a date with herself on Ebay, I guess some dude from England ended up paying $40,100… for a date… but, it said the money was going to charity, so that is cool… but I mean… think about that… $40,100… for a date.

There was a lot of other stuff… like, Paris Hilton looking for a new best friend… lame. And then, Celeb Hairstyles for spring, Guys: How that suit should fit. Blah, blah, blah. Ridiculous. So… I don’t really have anything else to say… I’ve just kind of blabbered. But I needed something to do while my food cooked. And now it’s done… so… I’m going to go... eat... I guess.

I'm a slacker.

I was informed that I'm a slacker... accused would be a better word... How... mean. I haven't been blogging because... I don't really have anything to blog about. Its really sad... lemme see if I can think of anything interesting that might have happened lately....... hm.............um...............well......

I don't remember what happened Monday. Tuesday.... I... went to work. Isn't that exciting? Not really. I did finally tell my boss about me leaving, and surprisingly she was ok with it! Woo! what a relief. I was dreading telling her... like... really dreading it. But she was cool with it. Ummm... oh, and I saw a kid I know from youth group. He was out helping put Terry's new big play set together. It was kind of funny, I went out to look at it and there he was! I was like... oh! I know you, haha. And then... I left at 4:30 instead of 5:30, because I had a concert to go too. Monk and Neagle. I rushed home, got ready. Then left with my parents, off to Artesia we went. They went to the movies, and I went over to the coffee house for the concert. Joshua came a hour after it started and didn't get to hear much of it... sad. I didn't get coffee until it was over, mainly because there was so many stinkin' people! I got some afterward, a mocha frappichino, double shot. Tasty. We left... at.. 9:00 I think, and I drove very sleepily home.

Wednesday.... ummm.... oh yes, Wednesday wasn't that great of day. I was cranky, yes cranky. All day. I had to go to town in the afternoon to get spacers and I just ended up getting worse. The minute I got home... which was like... 5ish I think, I went out and caught up Pecos, hopped on him bareback and was gone. It was like... instant calmness. It was so quiet out... I rode through the heifers and got plenty of chuckles from the calves. They are just so gosh darn cute! I made a big circle and ended up in the old lake where all the mommas and their babies were. I just sat and watched them for about a hour. The sun was starting to go down, and was peaceful... and just... calming. One momma kept licking her baby, it was ridiculous. Guess he needed a good bath though. Then one of the mommas had her head down eating her her little baby kept butting her on the head, and then jumping around. It was the funniest thing. Then a couple of heifers got to chasing my dog around, and she just kept coming back for more. Weirdo. It just got very amused, and giddy. That to me is like the best time to ride, when the sun is going down, and its nice and cool.... I love it. The Lord definitely calmed me down, he just used the ride, and the calves and everything. Mmm.

Umm... yesterday.... I worked yesterday. The end.

Today... the wind is blowing, sick. I hate the wind. I just looked out, the dust is blowing... and... ugh. I think the house might blow away. Glad we don't live in a trailer house or we might have already been... in Texas... or Mexico... I don't know what direction the wind is blowing... speaking of Mexico, we may be going in April!!! WOOHOO!! It isn't for sure, but it is a possibilty.
Ummm...

13 WEEKS! 13 weeks until Europe, ok... about 13 weeks. I can't really say since I don't the exact day we're leaving... but... still. I tried counting it out in days... and was like... phoo. It was like 90 something days, 13 weeks sounds better then 90 something days. I talked to my grandma today, we talked about Europe, what else? I have a one track mind... seems like Europe always get brought up in my conversations. So, I apologize. I can't help it. I'm looking into buying a laptop, if I get one it'll probably be a Dell, I can get one for $499 and for like 20 dollars extra I get get a webcam added. Which would be handy to talk to my family. So, um. Yeah. I don't really have anything else to say. I need to go get ready for Cowboy Church. I'll leave ya'll with a picture.

I found this on the web. Its Budapest Hungary. I fly home from here, and possibly in. The place I'll be staying, Vajta, Hungary is... two hours from here I think.

And this is the Calvary Chapel Bible College campus, where the program I'm going to, A vision for life if going to be at.

The building has a name... but I can't remember what it is. So anyway.

Later Dudes.

Exciting news!!

Ok, so it is exciting to me anyway. Sometimes the things I find exciting, other people don't find exciting... but whatever. I'm sharing anyway. The Lord has provided the rest of the money for Hungary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See, can't you see how exciting I am by all the exclamation points? Here I was thinking I wouldn't get the money... then! Here it comes. So, Lord willing I'll be on a plane bound for Europe in June, Lord willing definitely. It says in Proverbs not to boast about tomorrow, because we don't know what the next day holds. I'm pretty excited though! =) =)

In other news.... well... there isn't much other news. Yesterday we went and spent the day in Lubbock. We left about... 8 I think it was, got there and had some dinner. BBQ, very tasty BBQ I might add, very, very tasty. Ummm... then me and my mom went to the Christian bookstore, and my dad and brothers to the big tool sale (which is why we went to Lubbock) Oh, the book store, the wonderful, awesome book store... full of... books. And music, and a bunch of other awesome books. I just went up and down the aisles, looking at all of them... ahhh books. I have a love for books, I get called a book worm. But hey, that is ok. I skip they romance ones, most of 'em are just too cheesy. I like murder/mystery, suspense, and historical, and then ones like Ted Dekker. I looked at several, and then had the decision on which one to get. I got one called 'The Pawn" Its a murder/mystery. About a serial killer... my mom says I like the weird books. Guess its true. Then I got a shirt, it says, Love, on the front, then the back has a bunch of Bible verses on it. I like it =)

Then... after the book store we went to... the Ranch Heritage Center. It was pretty neat, they had a bunch of old houses and bunkhouses and such that were on different ranches, they moved them to the center and you can go and look at them all. It was really neat, I like looking at old buildings and stuff... it was a experience getting there that's for sure.... yikes. Ahem. Ummm after there we went to... Gander Mountain? I think... yeah. Spent some time in there, then went to Cavenders. Its a huge western wear store, got a shirt there too. Then, finally we went home. We were all pretty tired. We stopped and ate at Long John Silvers/KFC. Everyone got fish... but me. I got chicken. I'm not a huge fish fan. I'll eat it, but its just not my favorite. When we went to Washington we ate at a seafood place right by the ocean, and they made fun of me for getting a hamburger. Hey, if its what I like then what should they care? Anyway.

That was the day in Lubbock, I could probably go into a lot more detail but.... I won't. Just cause.
Ummm... what else... I pickup up another day working, Tuesday. It'll be all day. From 8:00 to about 5, 5:30. I get to do some school during the lunch hour, fun. But I told my mom I would. So, I'll be getting more hours. Which means a bigger paycheck =) And ummm... I washed my pickup the other day.... then it snowed... oh well. The inside is all clean at least.

Well... this post has kind of been jumbled up, but I figured I could give a update on my life. I'll try to write again soon. Maybe it won't be so jumbled.
Ciao.

A border collie and a heifer.

I did enjoy my ride yesterday. Thanks for asking.... Oh wait, I wasn't asked. Because nobody cares. But really, it was nice. I went out bareback, hit a run once. Talk about fun, it ain't something you can describe. You just get out there, hunker down, squeeze your legs, and off ya go! Ahhh.

I went out today too. With my camera. Because... that is just what I do, I take pictures. I like having my camera with me, though it can be hard to go fast with a camera around your neck. But oh well. I captured my border collie, Maggie... being a... well, border collie.

The hunter.

The Prey.

Stalking.

Attack!!!

The second attack

That's my border collie in attack mode! There are more pictures, but I won't post 'em. Oh and here are a couple of calves. My dad is calving out heifers, and these are the first two.

Ain't they just adorable! Babies is so cute, colts, kitten, puppies, calves. They are just so darn cute!
