I got up this morning and did the usual. Go out and run at about 6:15 or so.. well it was a little earlier then that today. It was very nice out this morning, I love being up to watch the sunrise. And a lot of the time you go out there and the coyotes get to yipping. There was a lot of them this morning, and they weren't far from me either. I heard a couple of them fightening. It's crazy how much they can sound like a dog... Anyways I go back to the house were everyone is still sleeping. Lazy bums, haha. I take a shower then study the Word. Then I have to get ready for work.
Of course all my horses were perfect and didn't give me any trouble at all.... yeah right. I get there say good morning to Joe, he's my bosses... well I don't know what you'd call him... a... yard man... maybe he does everything for Terry, maybe more like a slave ;) Then I go grab up my most favorite horse of all... ha! more like my least favorite. CJ (Chubbs Junior) Me and this horse have major issues. It was sad cause they took my favorite one from over there away... But that is just how it goes. So anyways I get CJ and bring him into the barn and go about brushing him and cleaning his feet. Well I was trying to pick up his feet but he wouldn't let me. When I would finally get one up he'd try to take it out of my hand. Then he was trying to reach around and bite me! He got a slap on the nose for that. Well then I got to saddle him. I grab the pad and turn around he he takes off! He heads straight for the other end of the arena to the round pen. And I'm hoping like crazy that there isn't a gate open somewhere. So I drop the pad and go after him. He goes into the round pen, trots around like a dummy then faces me and just lets me catch him. Which has me mumbling under my breath about stupid dummy horses.
We move on. I get up on him and start out at a walk in the barn. We trot, lope such as that. Then we head out. I have to stop first so I can get off and make my right stirrup longer then the other... why? becuase I'm not normal. I have the ride with with the right one longer because it gets to hurting from my knee down. I don't know why, it's just a strange thing with me. I get back on with me leg feeling much better now. I get into a trot. And there we are plodding along when all of a sudden CJ shys at something and jerks hard to the right. What was it you may ask? A snake? maybe a paper sack? oh no it was a stinkin' patch of dirt! See I ride in a alfalfa field, so there is... well... alfalfa. Well every now and then you'll be riding in all that alfala and you'll come upon a patch of dirt or something. And CJ decides that is a terrifying thing that is going to eat him. I ride this horse in this exact same field everytime I go over there. This isn't the first time he's done it several times. We'll be riding a long some days and he'll come upon a dirt patch, shy then we keep going and he shys again at another patch of dirt. He doesn't do this all the time mind you, just on some days. And it really isn't cool whenever you aren't expecting it. He's messed up my back doing that before and it really bugs me. Then after he gets over his fear of the dirt he decides to shy at a weed blowing in the wind... stupid horse.
After all that I ride two others. They weren't to bad. Choppo is just a lazy bum, and Cosmo can be a pain but they weren't awful. I seriously these horses are out to torture me. But when ya think about it, I would have a boring life if nothing ever happened, if the horses acted perfect... so it makes my life... interesting. Well I get done at about 11:30 then I get to come home. Eat some dinner, do some school. And such as that. So that has pretty much been my day so I'm going to end my post now.

That is sad that they took your horse away. Maybe you can become friends with a rock... or maybe a dirt patch. Hehehe. But it is 12:20 in the morning so I need to go to bed. Have a nice day.
Cosmo is an awesome horse thank you.I had that horse perfect when I worked there...I can't beleive they still use that poor thing.
